Between an accepted offer and picking up your keys lies a structured, deadline-driven process. Knowing what's coming helps you stay calm and organized every step of the way.

Right After Your Offer Is Accepted

Your conditional period begins, typically covering financing approval and, if included, home inspection, during which your agent and lawyer start coordinating in the background.

The Final 30 Days

Your lawyer conducts a title search, finalizes mortgage instructions with your lender, and prepares closing documents, while you arrange moving logistics, utility transfers, and home insurance.

  • Conditions satisfied and firmed up (financing, inspection)
  • Lawyer conducts title search and prepares closing documents
  • Home insurance arranged and confirmed with your lender
  • Final walkthrough shortly before closing
  • Funds transferred and keys released on closing day

Closing Day Itself

Your lawyer completes the final registration and fund transfer, and once everything is confirmed, you get the call to pick up your keys, the moment the entire process has been building toward.
