Which documents do you already have?

Government photo identificationDriver's licence, passport, or permanent resident card.

Employment letterShould be recent, on company letterhead, and state your position, start date, and income.

Recent pay stubsLandlords often request the last 2-3 pay stubs.

Credit reportA recent report is best. You can request one from Equifax or TransUnion.

Proof of fundsBank statement or savings confirmation. Hide sensitive details before sharing.

Landlord referenceConfirm your previous landlord is reachable and agrees to respond.

Rental applicationA blank, completed, or building-specific application form.

Guarantor documentsIf a guarantor is helping, they usually need ID, proof of income, and sometimes a credit check.

Tenant introduction letterHelpful for newcomers and first-time renters. Customize it for each application.
